
Functional Strength - A progressive strength training program designed to enhance overall fitness by focusing on exercises that develop strength, mobility and endurance. The class is structured to ensure a comprehensive workout that targets various muscle groups and incorporates different fitness elements.
What you can expect during a class:
Mobility and Warm-Up (10 minutes)
Strength Portion (20 minutes)
The strength portion varies between Compound Lifts and Olympic Lifts, ensuring a balanced approach to building Functional Strength. Each session may focus on one or two of these lifts, with multiple sets and repetitions tailored to the participants' fitness levels.Workout of the Day (WOD) (20 minutes)
The WOD is designed to improve cardiovascular fitness, endurance, and metabolic rate. It usually includes a mix of high-intensity exercises performed in circuits or intervals.Cool Down and Stretches (10 minutes)
After the intense workout, a cool down is essential to help the body recover and reduce soreness.
